Architecture Meetup: A Shared Vision for the Industry’s Future

The development of the architectural industry today is impossible without professional unity and open dialogue.

The Architecture Meetup hosted by @pragmatika.media served as a space for professional discussion and the search for shared goals.

During the panel “Architecture on the Edge,” participants agreed that today’s market needs not an increase in construction volume, but well-considered decisions with long-term value. The discussion on renovation focused on a practical question: how to work with historic buildings without imitation or loss of authenticity.

Separately, BIM was discussed as a tool for transparency—for working with investors, international partners, and complex projects.

This dialogue demonstrated that today we need not just a professional community, but a shared vision of the future—one that is conscious and capable of real transformations, of which you and I are a part.

“Vertical of Time” Exhibition

Spring… Let’s bring energy, beauty, and love into these turbulent times!

“Vertical of Time” is the title of the retrospective exhibition that Diana Popova and I opened as part of my curatorial project, Kyiv Art School!

Petro Bevza, I want to thank you for your wonderful art—it inspires and gives strength!

I sincerely invite everyone to visit the Museum of Kyiv. On the 3rd floor, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in and feel the warmth and power of contemporary Ukrainian art!

You can (and should) visit the exhibition until April 14; stay tuned for a guided tour with the artist, which I’ll announce in advance!

P.S. Each of you can contribute to this noble cause—bringing our victory closer—by purchasing a limited-edition signed print (only 100 copies) by the artist. See the photo. Thank you to Konstantin Kozhemyaka and ArtHuss Publishing.

The proceeds will be used to purchase drones for the “Bureviy” brigade. This is how we continue to support Anna Iskierdo and her initiative—“Architects’ Wings”!!!

My first experience as a host and moderator for the architectural Metronome was very warm and fun; next time, we should combine it with some off-the-cuff stand-up comedy))

– No one is working on reconstruction projects

– The restoration of destroyed buildings in cities and their lead architects

– Trends in construction: natural materials, warmth, and comfort

– Using high-quality materials, but (!) ones that are available here and now

– The need for simple methods to check material quality so that years later you won’t be ashamed of your building’s quality – The need to involve the younger generation of specialists and their practical experience.

Best Commercial Project at Ukraine’s Premier Architectural Award, “CREATOR OF THE YEAR”

• UniClinic bySensar –  1st place in the “Best Commercial Project” category at Ukraine’s premier architectural award, CREATOR OF THE YEAR

• The multi-specialty UniClinic hospital was built in 2023 in Zaporizhzhia. It is an 8,500 m² state-of-the-art hospital in Ukraine.

The building was renovated from a five-story unfinished maternity hospital, whose construction began back in Soviet times.

AIMM’s task was to adapt the old building with its outdated structural solutions, some of which were in a state of disrepair.

The main highlight of UniClinic is its decorative fiberglass elements, which feature interesting spatial geometry and create a full 3D effect.

The hospital’s first floor houses a large diagnostic department—with MRI, ultrasound, and CT scan rooms, spacious waiting areas, and an admissions office. Part of the outpatient clinic is also located on the first floor.

The hospital features a large inpatient ward, operating rooms, a hotel, a conference center, and office space.

This is the most modern and largest hospital built in eastern Ukraine since Ukraine’s independence.
