Lakeside 11 is a residential complex situated on the picturesque shores of a lake in Bucharest, Romania. The developer’s brief was to design new facade solutions and enhance the master plan, including landscape design.

The complex consists of six buildings, with the spaces between them naturally forming cozy courtyards. Since the construction site is relatively compact, providing an adequate number of parking spaces was a key challenge. To address this, the team implemented the Float Spot system: the ground level is dedicated to parking, while the upper level serves as a podium for recreation and leisure for both children and adults.

One of the primary goals achieved by the AIMM team was the clear separation of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, noise reduction, and the creation of a comfortable living environment. A central promenade for residents and guests runs between the building clusters.

The facade solutions incorporate modern materials and technologies:

• Human-Scale Design: The buildings are nine stories tall, maintaining a comfortable urban scale and a pleasant perception of the living space.
• Panoramic Terraces: The top floors feature spacious terraces with stunning views of the lake, serving as a signature highlight of the complex.
• Active Street Front: The ground floors are reserved for cafes, shops, and other commercial premises, fostering a vibrant public atmosphere.
