About project

The Arleville project represents a harmonious interplay between contemporary architecture and the unique Carpathian landscape. The hotel complex is situated on a site with rugged terrain, which dictated the planning and structural strategy. The territory previously contained several existing structures—clustered cottages and an administrative-recreational building—which were preserved, reinforced, and reconstructed to align with the new concept.

The overall structure of the complex includes the main hotel building, recreational residences, and two types of semi-detached houses. The main hotel block serves as the focal point, accommodating a wide range of functions for comfort and leisure: a SPA zone with a pool and Jacuzzi, a wellness bar, a coworking space, a conference hall, and a rooftop lounge bar offering panoramic views of the Carpathian peaks.

The hotel facades serve as a key visual accent—dynamic, expressive, and photogenic, creating a distinct “Instagrammable” appeal. To achieve visual cohesion across the complex, the team implemented a new roofing concept for the existing cottages, enhancing architectural unity and recognizability.

The landscape design focuses on natural integration, where every element of the landscaping highlights the environmental context. Despite the dense development, a thoughtful walking route was created, featuring diverse activities: from scenic viewpoints on observation decks to relaxation in hillside gazebos and adventures in the rope park.
