Rock Flower Bed

About project

Outdoor flower bed ROCK, made of architectural concrete, is intended to be an element of landscape architecture.

The design and performance of the flower bed make it exceptional.

The appearance of the ROCK flowerbed is associated with the rock through which the plants grow. The contrast of monumental static and living plants was created by the designers intentionally to bring natural elements to the urban environment: the asphalt jungle.

In addition to its striking design, the flower bed easily fulfills an exclusively utilitarian purpose: it doesn’t allow parking in pedestrian and green areas.

The flower bed is made of a high-strength consist based on cement binders and special chemicals. In other words, it’s made of architectural stone.

A distinctive feature of concrete flower beds is that there are no limitations to choose the color palette. In particular, you can give the ROCK flower bed the color of the surrounding paving slabs, asphalt, or choose any color you wish.

Unpretentious perennial plants that are resistant to urban conditions could be planted directly into the flower bed. If the flower bed is installed separately, it's possible to plant undersized shrubs with a fibrous or cut root system on a scaffold or the ground. Landscaping with lawn grass is also recommended: in this case, the earthen lump is well kept.

The flower bed can be used as a walling of the tree, in case of planting it in the system of structural cells TREE PARKER.
