ABOUT PROJECT

Business Center “М8”

About project

Reconstruction of an industrial center into an office and business center of the Intergal-BUD company is a complex of architectural and engineering solutions designed to revitalize the former industrial workshops in the central part of the city and turn this territory into a modern urban space.

The team managed to preserve prefabricated beams, girders, columns, and part of the floor during the reconstruction. Also, they dismantled staircase and elevator assemblies, roof slabs, and hinged front panels.

A crucial element during the reconstruction that had to be preserved was the rhythm of the facades of Moskovskaya Street.

It was also interesting to work with the volume of the building since the first floor was six meters high, the second and third floors were five meters high, and the next three floors — 3.9 m, according to the project.

Since the building has a characteristic point of perception on the east side, we applied a wave solution on the main façade to make this perspective easier to see.

In the decoration of the facades, a play of proportions with window structures, maroon pilasters, which are a continuation of the stylobate part made of red granite, and rhomboid porcelain stoneware derekors, which set the general rhythm of the building, was used.
