DNIPRO ISLAND

The `Dnipro Islands` are AIMM`s contribution to the ambitious master plan of a new neighborhood developed north of Osokorky`s region in Kyiv city. `Dnipro Islands` bring 1100 new homes, mobilizing modern construction with traditional materials to create generous living spaces in close connection to nature and city life.

The main goal, pursued by the architects, is to create a "green oasis" in the middle of the concrete jungle of the city. A place to live and relax, where it will be quiet, cozy and safe. The landscape of the plot helped convey this comfort of nature and make it accessible to every resident by lowering the inner courtyard. In this way, the yard becomes physically separated from the aggressive environment of the city and prevents outsiders from entering it. The buildings of the residential quarter have a height (4-12 floors) commensurate with a person. It also affects the psychology of perception as a comfortable space for living.

The highlight of the complex is an expressive cascade of green terraces, which is hard not to notice, even from the street. His oasis slums slowly "draws" us into. 4 houses - 4 facade styles are connected by one concept, embodies the idea of "all different - all equal". Everybody can choose a house to their taste.

The complex is equipped with parking for 730 cars and also includes various public areas such as: cafes, shops and commercial premises.
