Wave Flower Bed

About project

The WAVE outdoor concrete flower bed is designed for use as an element of landscape architecture and a parking barrier.

The design and performance of the flower bed make it exceptional. The appearance of the WAVE flower bed resembles the sea waves that arise from the asphalt surface of the city. This effect was created intentionally by designers to bring natural elements into the urban environment. In addition to its striking design, the flower bed easily fulfills an exclusively utilitarian purpose: it doesn’t allow parking in pedestrian and green areas. The flower bed is made of a high-strength consist based on cement binders and special chemicals. In other words, it’s made of architectural stone.

A distinctive feature of concrete flower beds is that there are no limitations to choose the color palette. In particular, you can give the WAVE flower bed the color of the surrounding paving slabs, asphalt, or choose any color you wish. Unpretentious perennial plants that are resistant to urban conditions could be planted directly into the flower bed. If the flower bed is installed separately, it's possible to plant undersized shrubs with a fibrous or cut root system on a scaffold or the ground. Landscaping with lawn grass is also recommended: in this case, the earthen lump is well kept. The flower bed can be used as a walling of the tree, in case of planting it in the system of structural cells TREE PARKER.

Outdoor concrete flower beds of the AIMM and MONE STUDIO collaboration are manually mounted because the weight of each element goes up to 105 kg.
